So today at work I couldn't really be bothered with anything so I faffed about, then set about working on an old trolley.

*Intro music*

Welcome to the first episode Mighty Trolley Mods proudly supported by Just Trolley Insurance.
Now there's a long list of very important modifications you can do to your car. Like fluffy dice and extreme camber, and fake draw things that stick over the top of real draws, fake bumps and scratches, fake handles not even connected to anything. I saw a guy with a pump truck with a set of horns on there, I'm not even joking, there was actually a set of horns on the handle, Put on a bracket and taped to the handle so people would think his trolley was possessed. That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen.
...Important modifications like new wheels, I am gonna show you how to change the wheels, not to standard but to JDM standard. Now I am working on my spare trolley. Lets wheel it Matt. Lets change the wheels Matt, Lets have a great time while we do it and lets make a forum post about it.
Good idea we can put it on fiat forum.

This is my 2002 twin loading double height draw trolley. It started very stock and very mistreated. I cleaned it up, oiled the draws made a mockery of it, however my boss wouldn't like me wasting time sanding and respraying it.

I installed a single loading set of draws, big brakes, and used it round work I unveiled the trolley previously to my boss at breakfast today. To see more work without photos go back to sleep and pretend you saw it. I was very happy with the car, but a couple of 90 year old granddads from a retirement home wrote in and said the trolley should have better wheels. So today we are gunna change the springs.

So today we are putting on a set of RSR 100mm turbo silver and black steel wheel, these are from a local DIY shop, about 4 years ago and are made specifically for most things. Now these were brought in by a kind chap I work with they were only £16.99 for a set of 4 brand new. Now these are puncture proof tires meaning you can hammer nails in and still not get punctions, but have the benifits of ride comfort, however you can get really hard springs that are for track use. So let's put them on.

*fade to white*

So before we change the wheels we are gunna get a guage of just how cool the car looks, now the way we are gunna do this is by standing around 20 feet away, positioning your thumb as to just be level with the top, and your index finger level with the lowest point of your trolley. From this side is is measuring in at about Windows 2/10.

Now for this mod you will need some spanners wheels, hammer, and probably a trolley.

Now set about jacking your trolley up, remember to use axle stands for safety. Or just tip it on it's top using the vice to prevent damage to the floor, and trolley.

Now these are the wheels that are coming off, you can see that they are worn, and need replacing anyway. However the mounts are not suited for 100mm, so we will have to find some new ones.

These wheels and mounts came out of a draw, probably off of another trolley of simlar description, but the wheels look tatty, so they can get scrapped, then mount our super cool JDM wheels to this. The wheels are in order of closest to the camera first, Donor set, Old, New. These mounts come with better brakes, help the trolley stop after a 1/4 mile drag.

As you can see after just a few hours work this trolley has gone from store room find to an acceptable windows 7/10. Tomorrow I will get that to an astonishing 10, I have a sick body kit planned, and some nice new features.
