just bought this, good or bad?

it says it dont light up, that means you can still see it right? and still use it, but it just dont light up?

i wouldnt have thought you could see it, with my pioneer one wether you turn you lights on or not, the display lights up automatically otherwise you cant see a thing!

theres a man in raligh(sp) that does cheep hifi repairs he maybe able to fix it

i would wait until you receive it first before you go looking for a new face,there might be more wrong with it.

it depends, if its just the backlight, you should still be able to use it as the LCD number will be a slightly differet color when held up to the light, ive got the same prob with my LCD clock

erm if you need a new face then it will prob cost quite a bit, my old pioneer was the same, the headunit cost £500 new, and it was about 4 years ols when it wasnt well, if i got a new face for it it would have been cheaper buying a full new unit.... so i did!

yeah they should just stick to what thet are best at and that is there tv's and in house entertainment. i would never have a sony head unit,kenwood and pioneer all the way

yeah when it comes too ice buy sumfin from a company that specialise like JL, JBL, Mutant x, mtx etc etc (wow jst dawned on me how many companys do ice lol) xxx

is it chavvy to get the faulty stereo i bought, get it mended for free (mums bf deals in electrics) and put it back on ebay for a profit? aparently thats chavvy according to darkciruituk. so whats your opinion?
