Most of this plus my trolly jack and axel stands

Maybe not the nutgun for road side but I do have a portable compressor as well lol

Torch, Screwdrivers, footpump, adjustable spanner/set of spanners anything that can't be fixed with that is not something to be doing at the road side, so my AA card.

My missus would divorce me if i said i was taking all that.....decent breakdown cover and a thorough check before you go is plenty in my opinion.

Generally there is nothing in the boot of my car but a first aid kit, however I took the thread to mean what would you take if having to go out and do a road side repair, if you need that many tools chances are you're going to need replacement parts as well which I wouldn't be carrying

But say your on holiday and need parts your never far from a halfords or a motor-factors or little independent garage who will be happy to order parts in for you.

Done several repairs on cars on holiday on a campsite even a "simple" change bulb often needs a screw driver needle nose pliers to change a fuse for example..

Helped Bodge a Fiat Ugly Bug a good few years ago which had a broken exhaust a pair of tuff scissors several PEPSI cans (not coke cola pepsi tins are steel not ally ;) ) and a couple of jublie clips .... Got a text off the chap saying his car had made it the 400 miles home and it had stayed put :slayer:

How does that affect your luggage allowance on an Easyjet flight? :)

Interesting question.
Are you suggesting we try to check the car onto the flight? Even a classic Panda may be too big for hand luggage.
Should we take all our luggage, just in case the car is broken into while we are away?
Should we take them all with us, just in case the hire car breaks down?
