Civil Parking Charge Notice

i ignored the last one i got and they gave up after a bit. my defence would have been the following
A) on the blurred black and white photo, you cant make out the registration plates.
B) on the same black and white photograph it shows a grey car, mines red.
C) on the PCN they stated i was parked on a date that didnt exist in that years calender.
D) the close up photos of my registraion plate are photoshopped as i have the blue euro flags on my plates, that were made by a dealer that went bump in 2009 and doesnt exist any more, plus the spacing was off

I saved every letter and so wanted them to try court. i had a lot more than the above to.

That said, a family member got one, tried to discuss it with the company and appeal but they refused to even listen, (this would have been thrown out of court for the laughable reason they said the car was on car park A andits clearly photographed in car park B with the sign behind it!) they went down the usual route of the threatening letters, the debt collection letters then a convincing court summons. on contacting the court it related to, they said they hadnt issued it and were very interested in who sent it in relation to what etc. magically the letters and contact stopped from the company after providing the court with the documents they sent my relative. the reason? they had committed a criminal offence. I also reported them to HMRC over VAT and statementing as well

I've copied the letter which shows Mr instead of Mrs, and sent it back in the original envelope marked 'addressee unknown at this address, return to sender'.

Will see what happens.

Recently received one from Brittania parking for 'failure to display free ticket'. You get 30 mins free but have to display a tocket. Basically appealed with saying that the sign information stating this isnt obvious enough to create a legally binding contract with whoever the driver was. It then went on to say that the fine is disproportionate to the loss incured by brittania (not the land owners) and that any further contact would see them in court for harrassment with them paying all legal fees. Havent had a reply yet. I kind of hope I do. Haha.

I've just got my 6th demand from companies claiming to represent UKPC.
3 from debt recovery plus, 2 from zenith collections and now a "letter before referral for legal action", again, from debt recovery plus.

And all because I parked my bus slightly askew of a marked bay!

Had I parked wholly within the bay, I would've been partially blocking the 'road', so, as I was in a space right beside a footpath area, I decided to park on the skew - seeing as the path was blocked with advertising A frames & therefore couldn't be used anyway!
My boss explained the predicament & how I would have to completely block the 'road' when I deployed the tail-lift to pick up my wheelchair passenger - but UKPC wouldn't give.
So, as is policy, the drivers pay their own fines - or in this case, ignore them :D

Let them come - they bleet on about sch 4 of protection of freedom act 2012 & how it refers to the recovery of unpaid parking charges, yet seem oblivious to the fact that they are hounding me for parking on the skew - so nothing to do with the fact that I didn't have to pay in the first place.
They need to make up their mind!

IMO Thats too funny to be real, what judge would use language like "yeah" all the time?
