the charger is different to the one they had before, i have the one they had before and it is ok, charges all battery types

does it do a totally discharged battery if you leave it trickling for a few days?
thanks
ie can it cope as i use a beast at work and sometimes it just kills them by sulphating them i guess ,but im wo to buy the ctek one at £100 when this might be the same under the cover

No .. if the battery is under 8v ish the old ones used to shut down. Aldi have done a similar one with digi display and that does the same.. IIRC it does an initial pulse charge ...

are you sure, i cant find my instructions now so i could be wrong, but i though it said some thing about restoring totally dead batteries.

Yes I'm sure had a leisure battery I wanted to recover and had to borrow a old dumb charger to bring the volts up so the charger would recognise it as a 12v battery it kept thinking it was a 6v battery

Shouldn't take long for a decent battery to shove some charge in

Be aware that although orc it's rated at 4 amp it might take longer to charge than you think due to the charge cycle cycling the current to alow absorption I've watched it using my amp clamp when I charged my new start stop battery prior to fitting

thanks guys ive taken on board whats been said and read the link where 7 volts is needed so im going to give it amiss
glad to see the link advises battery disconnect whilst charging too

For the replacement car bulb kit, there is an almost identical one in Asda at £3.50.
The car seat covers are naff, do not fit a punto correctly, the car mats are not for a UK car as the drivers one is for the left side.
The onion bhajis might taste nice though :

Does anyone know how good the wipers are?

I was in the Bolton store today, looked at them.

Frame aside - the wiper itself does not appear much different to those in Poundland.

I was having a good look at the mens boots too as I need some new ones.
I decided that I want boot that will last longer than a couple of weeks so gave them a miss.
