i was with them when my abarth got written off....

even tho i used another company to get my claim sorted i dont have a bad word to say about them, their breakdown cover was top notch and the man they sent to asses the car didnt bat en eyelid at the mods as they were declared and gave a very very good estimation of cost!!!

am prob switching back to them in sept as clubcento have a 10% discount with them which is always a bonus!!! (y)

Thats really good to know Mase (y) My quote was extremelly low compared to any other insurers and they are very mod friendly hence the switch from elephant who are just awfull if you have mods or even any optional extras on the car.

they are a specialist insurer for modified cars, they even have a special brance for classic and kit cars so def the people to call to get a quote.

only reason i am with CIS is cause they were a little bit cheaper, and i needed the money haha

do plan on goin back in sept, especially with this CC discount! (y)

Maybe they are just expensive for London or they didn't like how I sounded on the phone. Lady laughed when I told her how much my quote from morethan was and told me that I might as well stop the quote now as no way are they going to be able to give me a quote anywhere near as good as that (at that point the only mod I had was a new stereo  )

Well here's hoping I'll be lucky too. I'm with Esure who were the lowest I could find at £500 (parking on the street in London) but they won't allow any mods at all. As I aim to remap/CDA/Supersprint exhaust and possibly do the suspension this is rather awkward. My insurance isn't due until Nov and Adrian Flux wouldn't qwuote for so far ahead. So nearer the time I'll give them a buzz.

And driving down the wrong side of the road.

Hmmm..may be worth joining CC just to get insurance discount. ;)

Adrian Flux won't hit you hard on the remap anyway, the extra they charge for the mods are far lower than anywhere else i've tried and believe me i have tried pretty much everywhere. I intend to declare all of my mods, even the remap once i've got it done, I can't afford to take any chances, I wouldn't want to give them any excuse for not paying out if something happened.

James, you can still get a rough idea how much it would cost you, I get a quote from them every couple of months just to see if it's come down.
If you know what your NCD will be, just put it in now :)
I'd be interested to see what other older people get quoted :)
