Boston Bombing

Boston Bombing

Pretty horrific to think about getting caught up in something like that. Shocking....

Reports of visible 'blood spatter' over the road and pavements from the helicopters :(.

I'm guessing it's not the 'usual' culprits as the security services 'should' have picked them up weeks ago.

t is just sick really when you think of it
All because somebody want to make a point - they involve innocent people

I hope they burn in hell tbh, life is too short, and we are now all living in fear more and more everyday!

the world is coming to a rubbish dump, last one out, switch the lights off

At the moment no one knows who did this or why, its pretty unusual for this type of attack to slip through the net, and no one as yet has claimed responsibility and thus no point has been made.

This could be a terrorist attack it could be a man man working alone or more worrying but less likely it could be an act of war.

Its all a very sad state of affairs:(

The US has had this kind of thing before, 9/11 notwithstanding, in the shape of Timothy McVeigh and the Unabomber. Sad as this episode is, it's nothing new to us in the UK.

+ many more. I don't wish to diminish the effects of the bombs today, but seeing as, along with New York, Boston was the source of a hell of a lot of support, both financial moral and material, to the IRA it almost seems as if the metaphorical pigeons have come home to roost.

Do you mean Guantanamo? Guatamala,:shakehead: Young people today eh? What can you do with them. Wasn't like that in my day I can tell you (waffle waffle) Now, where was I? Oh yeah, I think the London bombs were largely because we were allies of "The Great Satan" rather than an actual act.....but then I might be wrong.

"Surely not," I hear you cry.........:p

Nah then! I forgot the name ;) Guantanamo bay, I remember now. Mail online basically explained how to make a pressure cooker bomb earlier lol
What?? (Splutters into Earl Grey) THE Mail? THE Daily Mail?? Unbelievable. The Mail has finally found something to report on that isn't linked to house prices gong up, pensions going down or cures for angina, diabetes or erm, oh now, what's that other thing called? Oh you know, Margaret and George from Dun Roamin' down the avenue had it.

Hellfire, what's it called when you can't remember things? Oh I don't know. I tell you, it's a good job I haven't got alzheimers

I wonder...
It's been a while now since the Americans had a good war to rally the people & they have been known to make the odd sacrifice 'for the greater good'.

And for some people, there's a fortune to be made from other people's misery. It swells the newspapers & news channels, the people forget their petty differences & unify against the enemy at the gate...

Ban pressure cookers? That's like saying, ban pens in case someone stabs someone with it. Or ban cars in case someone crashes into someone with it or fills it with bombs.

Also, where is this al Qaeda magazine "inspire" anyway? I'm guessing no one here knows the answer though...
