Having been in a Police car when on blue lights as a passenger, its great when people see you clearly, like MEP and stop. Rather than move a foot over and slow down a tiny bit.

Hope its not too bad Jon!

what i see is a driver in your lane going in the oppsite direction you very slowly slowing down and some dumb blint not watching the road 3 seconds before impact you had breake lights

bumpers bend you need it off and check behind it for cracks and damage to the beam

How much damage have you suffered Jon ?
Or is this a case of the towbar bites back ?

Upon taking a much closer look today the smart has managed to bend my towbar where it bolts onto the rear chassis leg and that's bend the rear panel (although not leg luckily).

And when I spoke to her insurance company earlier she'd told them it was only a number plate she'd cracked

Foglamps and wiring have had it, as have some of my parking sensors. I think it's going to cost some what more than the price of a number plate to repair.

A 'toofer' this time.
Another muppet thinks it's fun to speed up as I overtake them.
Trouble is, this time it's an HGV & god knows what speed he was hitting - just before he hit his brakes (just as I pull in behind him) :tosser:

Plus someone dragging a caravan at stupid mph.
I thought they were limited but wasn't 100% sure. Gov.uk had the answer.

OK, so what's changed? Normally I c&p the YT link from the address at the top of the page & it inserts the vid ???

I briefly thought about changing the time on the cam (still 1hr behind!)- but had a nap until the thought went away (plus the new cam should be here in the next week or so :-D)

There were two lorrys doing this on the M4 this morning, causing loads of trouble :bang:

I think the question we are all wondering though, what were you listening too on the radio!?

MP3s off my phone - hits of the 60s. On the journey down I listened to 'teenage kicks' a compilation album of 70s and 80s, followed by a brief dip into War of the Worlds (next Gen) - just can't get into it, I guess after decades of listening to the original (and still the best) it'll be hard to adjust to the variation (In much the same way as I don't like the new Dr Who theme).

If you listen closely, you'll hear me singing - I'm practising for the next X factor...that's how bad my singing is :D

 I also listened to the original this morning. Have only heard a few of the tracks from the new version on Radio 2 but it sounded ok

There was another incident, on the M25. Black, unmarked police car came hairing down lane 3, siren screeching & shedloads of blue lights all over the front & back, sat behind some muppet in a transit for ages. The strobe blues really caught my attention a long while before I could make out what was there in my wing mirror yet, despite the unmarked car sitting on the white lines & then against the barier, the muppet in the transit failled to spot him :tosser:
I didn't make a note of the time so it'd take me forever to find the right clip (and I doubt it'd show much as the cam seems to have a problem with anything more than a few feet away)

I love coming across trucks racing each other, the only thing missing is a blurry crane trundling along at 40 mph :bang:

I have lost count how many times I have been caught in the chaos on Reigate Hill on the M25 (approaching J8 clockwise) :bang: (n) :(

I made the mistake of asking SWMBO to buy it as an early XMAS pressie (kept getting emails about it from the WotW website).
Wished I'd waited & had a listen to the various tracks people have uploaded to YT.

The hairs on my arms don't stand on end when I listen to the new one, it doesn't have the same atmosphere (and some of the singers are trying to be actors -which they aren't)

I love the original War of the Worlds, haven't heard the latest version yet, but also have the techno style version from a few years ago. :D

Have you got the DVD of the stage show ? :D

Yeah, Thought it was cool how they superimposed Burton's face.
TBH, I thought the new version would simply be some good talent re-enacting the original but they've 'tarted up' the score a bit too much IMO
