another thing i saw on another forum..
just a thread where you can post up random thoughts. can involve anything,
cars.. internet.. work.. life..

my thought of the day is:

wonder if i can hack a punto 8v aircon system to a panda classic... if i make my own aircon pump bracket, or find a 12v "fridge" compressor.... hmmm :chin::chin::chin::chin:

I like this idea :)

This is my thought of the day in meme form

at work :p

heater valve passes like crazy, not going to pay £30 for a new one.. rather BUILD a whole aircon system into my car (mostly for fun, and to see if i can do it.. which i will be able to)
just wish some one was was going to scrap a 1.2 8V punto local to me that i could just quickly whip all the bits off, for free.. or really really cheap >_<

Yes you can. I had a pump and bracket on eBay all week. An hour after the listing ended you pop the question.

My thought for today (not Julie Benz wearing nothing but strategically placed Jaffa Cakes) is.

If Cinderellas shoe was such a good fit, why did it fall off in the first place?

Start at the front and work back, you need to find a condenser which will fit In front of the radiator, and route the pipe work to a compressor, you also need to mount a receiver/dryer and route the pipe work through to the bulk head for high and low pressure sides. Also workout how you are going to manage the idle when the aircon is active.

its simple stuff, i use to have fun with fridges a while ago. i turned one into a basic aircon unit replacing the fridge with a small radiator from out of a car.

i used another fridge motor to suck all the air out then just let the vacuum suck in the old gas i captured in a vacuumed co2 bottle. it didnt work well as a lot of the gas didnt go back in the system but it got cool. besides it was all experimentive.

the idle should be easy.. the choke on a panda first upps the revs before it enables the choke. if i pull it out just a tiny tiny bit it would up the revs just enough.

so about that bracket, if it sold, do you have any pictures of it so i can try to copy it? lol you got the old listing address so i can have a look at it?

So the princess kissed a frog and it turned into a handsome prince. Did they know when it was written that Sperm look like tadpoles and was kissing a frog a deliberate Freudian slip?

Also did they know that certain breeds of amphibian are Hermaphroditus by nature and the frog could have turned into a princess, prince or even a queen?

^^ mind blown..

ive been wondering today while i was putting the dash back together in talon if i could retro fit electric windows out of a cinq or an uno.. what i need to do is have a look at the window winder mech. and compare it with electric ones from off other fiats. if i can find one where the bolt holes line up i think it could be done!

My mate is a Royal Engineer and when he's not on active duty but on tour in Afghanistan he has to wear hi-vis. It's Health and Safety Laws.

I think thats hi vizibility so the yanks don't shoot us

Im with Dave and the boobs for the thoughts lol

And while your fixing my breaks Rob you can install electric windows and central locking if you like if you have the parts ;) lol

Fixing breaks is a job for your union representative. ;)

The central locking units went with the doors and if you have the loom and relays for electric windows it's a plug in and play job.

Today's thought.

If you only had one bullet left what member of JLS would you shoot?
