It has a 'parking sensor' which is way too sensitive, so I'd recommend turning it off. I'd also say it records at 720p, but is blown up to 1080p, but you can change the mode. Keep the sound on to record significant number plates as the video quality can be hard to see number plates.
Otherwise, it's a low cost constant recording camera that has collision detection, a lead long enough to go through the trims with some slack, Powers on and off with the car, and for some bizarre reason can double up as a webcam
I didn't like the dedicated 12v power for it, so I purchased a 5m USB cable and connected it to a 12v USB dual port, and it seems to work much the same as with their 12v charger.
