However all that makes me think is I want a skyline gtr vspec R33 in midnight purple 2..not I want a lease car..thaf and sets my "crap sound effect ocd" off. V8 noise out of a V6 you say? Must be magic/aimed at Andy.
A Dodge Challenger would be my choice in Hellcat or Demon 'trim'. They look so bloody mean. 😁

Sitting at work doing what you do, was told apparently my interview for my current job is the 19th..I hadn't actually applied yet. Slightly surreal to sit and fill out an application for something you've got an interview date for. Ah due process..bit of a joke in this case but hey.

Reading the Pistonheads fleet report on the new 124 Abarth. Some of the comments were funny. "Why has it got a black bonnet? It looks stupid."

You're probably not the target market then.

Saw a shiny black Lambroghini Aventador LP-2304263502937550972305927359(?) with gold/bronze wheels - was expecting it to look tat but looked beautiful in the rain!

Yes. I think they've got a deal on that colour at the moment too. I think they look great.

Went to pick up my monitor for home working...

"Do I need to sign for this?" "Nah it'll be alright"...then wandered past security with a monitor under my arm and put it in the boot of the car..not one eyelid batted. Alright lads yeah I just fancied a widescreen monitor for my house...

Where I worked many years ago they were very security concious, but it occurred to me that anything could be delivered to the post room for despatch without question. Never tried it, but did smile at the thought of having stuff delivered at the company expense.

My new tyres! Went for Hankooks in the end.

Very big improvement in the wet!

Opted for Asian brands to boycott EU countries who are jumping on the bandwagon of inflating prices for us atm!

That.. and the fact I feel marketers of ALL tyres do a terrible job at communicating why I should buy one over the other etc. I mean... they all say “long lasting” “economical” “good for nature” “good wet performance” “low noise” “lots of Grip” etc etc!?

Oh. And our Fiat showroom was formerly a Toyota one so we have this nice little window to see what’s happening the car. Quite cool. Respect to Toyota for liberating otherwise in the dark customers on what’s going on!

This is reasonably common, Springfield in Gateshead have it as well. Had the joy of watching 4 techs around my uno in about 2004. I imagine the conversation went along these lines "what the hell is this thing doing still running? More to the point what's it doing at a main dealer? "Nevermind that it's in for a new distributor..I haven't seen one of them in ten years, does anyone remember how that **** works?" "Please don't tell it me needs a carb rebuild.. "
