you could just buy some winter tyres and do it properly

Thermawrap the whole inside of the car (y)

A second spare tyre

A blanket

A bag of salt

De-icer is a must

Ready meals (the silver bags)

no daz they would be no good it would be that cold it would shrivvel up anyway

Greasing or Oilingthe buggers didnt work
So will silicone grease actually make an difference?

Also a Neat little gadget to consider - winter is hard on batteries and alternators
So a Little Volt Meter to let you know if the 2 are working fine :)

Also handy so you know if you can charge your phone or not ;)

Winter Tyres are SOOO tempting, my current Summers aint great in wet :(

I'd rather use silicone OIL as opposed to grease (less messy)

apply to a cloth and just wipe on..


Volt meter wont give an accurate reading you want a proper battery tester

Stove (butane and propane mix)
mess tin
Food
matches,
Lighter,
Flint and steel and fire kit
Torch x 2 for some reason
Compass
few candles,
Cylume light sticks
knife fork spoon
Wooly hat and gloves
Snow chains
snow shovel
Survival bag
Foil blanket


and packed in a small dry duffle bag

Need to add a bit more food to it (other stuff was out of date or been eaten) and a few tea bags and cup

usually have a bottle of water with me and a couple of smaller mineral water bottles in teh car anyhow
