This test should consist of one thing and one thing only:

1) You will only get in if you have a pre-arranged job with a registered company. Do you? If not, bye.

I don't think you quite understand. This is not the only thing you need to do to get a visa.

Let me explain the process for me of moving from Australia to the UK

Pay fee for working holidaymaker visa, send passport and money order off, get passport back with visa in it. That means I could come here in June 2006 and then work for a full year. I worked the whole of 2007 then had to leave my job. Cost about 200 quid.

In January 2008 I had to apply for PERMISSION to get married. Sent passports off, came back with a piece of paper saying we could get married which cost £295. May 2008 got married, went to passport office in Liverpool, paid some silly fee (£800 I seem to remember). That meant I could stay here for 2 years and at the end of those two years if I was still married then I could apply to stay here permanently. At no time in that first 4 years was I allowed any benefits at all. I still had to pay tax and NI, but no access to benefits.

May 2010 I had to sit this pissing test so I could then apply. Applying was £900 quid.

I don't even have a British passport. To become a British citizen that's another £800 and then I'm sure I probably have to pay for the passport as well.

It's not as simple as merely turning up at heathrow and collecting your benefits cheque the next week I can tell you........

Please don't tell me what all the figures add up to. I don't want to know :(

If you seek asylum or were born in an EU country then yes, it actually is.

It goes both ways though. You want to go and live and work anywhere in the UK? No problems. UK is hit by war or the government starts shooting people for no reason? Libya will happily take you in.

For every scummy asylum seeker who comes in here and lives on benefits there are hundred of lazy British born feckers who can't be bothered to work.

Stop trying to justify this. It's nonsense and you know it.

So we've got our own problems, fine. If we stop more coming in, then we can work on them.

LOL "Stop trying to justify this". So because you dont like what i'm saying I should "just stop" Next time I meet someone I don't like I'll say "Stop living! You're nonsense and you know it", I'm sure they'll drop dead on my command :chin:

When you get out of kindergarten you're in for a real shock.

As for your last statement, the UK seems to have a good supply of home grown mongs which will last a long time, letting a few more in won't hurt......

well my optional on asylum seekers is one day they will return so instead of letting them into the uk, and loosing track. create nice houses on one of the many islands around.

give them everything they need to live a good life then if they want to join the uk they can apply, though the usual means. but carpet banning saying no one should come in is wrong.
