The swine. I hope their caught. Has she had a scout about the area the accident happened in? Any cctv cameras about that she could investigate? Someone might have footage of it.

she turned around to try and follow them but it shot off way too fast, dont know about cctv i'll find out tomorrow.

It's probably little comfort, but it sounds like she is unhurt? So it could have been much worse. It's the only way to look at it. But I hope you find the driver.

well this is strange, the girl got a letter off Lowestoft police saying they was going to prosecute her for failing to stop or report
so she took the letter to Ipswich police station and spoke with the police she dealt with on the day, they looked into it and apparently 3 days after the incident the driver of the audi walked into Lowestoft police station (44 miles away) and reported it but said it was her that didnt stop off :nutter:
the police have said she has nothing to worry about as they even have her call straight after the accident to 999 logged.

but her insurance are not being helpful at all saying she will have to argue it with the other guys insurance as he is saying she was at fault

i hope it gets sorted out for her

Wouldn't surprise me.

Served 3 customers at work today who behaved like drunks (staggering etc) and smelt it on their breaths who then proceeded to get in their cars and drive

Lol tell me about it. They might not be over the limit but you never know. I've called the police once on a 999 call and reported a driver who I refused to serve booze to because he was that drunk! Fell over coming into the shop.

That's what really f***ing annoys me about car insurance. You take it up the a** paying sky high premiums the least you can expect is to be looked after in the event of something bad happening.

Instead your treated with condescension and incompetance.

If I were in a non-fault accident I'd be straight to the solicitor NOT the insurance company!

i suggested that, she is in a low pay carers job, so told her to check if her insurance came with legal cover

If not there's plenty of no win no fee guys about for non fault accidents .

They tend to be more competant than the idiots the insurance companies pick (they only care about cost).
