Can anyone help me by telling me when the uno was first produced and when the mark 2 took over, also what are the differences between the both. I got a lot of money riding on this so any help is apprecieated

Hi Gaz, the Uno made it's debut in - wait for it January 1983. The first cars in this country appeared on a Y registration plate.The Uno 45 had initially the 903cc engine from the 127, this was replaced in 1985 by the 999cc F.I.R.E. unit. The Uno was substantially revised in September 1989 (mark 2). The external modifications were a more steeply sloping bonnet, smaller headlamps, a grille similar to that of the Tipo and a completely redesigned rear hatch, lights and window. Internally there was a brand new dash and various trim changes and increased specification. I hope this answers your query and you win you bet! I
