HMS ark royal is for sale to anyone. how about FF does a collection, and put a bid on it and buy it. and give fiatfoum members and there fiats exclusive cruises around the world. plus it would be the best advert you could get, a massive fiat logo on the side of it

i dont know, concordes only sold for a pound i believe though, so this might go cheap. Im not to sure, i believe the engines must be thrown in to, it is powered by 4 olympus engines, which are the engines that concorde used, so theyl be juicy haha

Wasn't that because regulations meant they couldn't be flown.... Not sure, just guessing.

This can still be moved surely.

£1 is just the minimum consideration needed to allow a transaction to take place - it would cost way more than that in real terms.

Feck Ark Royal, there's a Lightning on there. :slayer: no engines though. and for some reason they're not allowed to be flown in this country.

might have been, i cant really remember tbh, i was to young haha. yeah, it must still be seaworthy, as there was consideration for bringing it back for the libyan crisis at one stage. I dont know what if there are any sea regulations stopping it. oh i see
my betting is it will become a museum just like HMS Belfast.

Doubt it, not really an interesting ship, lacks the significant history that Invincible has/had, which is being scrapped. They should of kept HMS Vanguard as a museum, being the last of the Battleships.

right so, stealth locky is Captain, Droners is the traffic warden/car park regualtor , and Jip0 is in charge of the raceing strip. i'l be the maintenance engineer on the engines. any other volunteers?

Ark Royal played a significant part in the sinking of the Bismark in WWII. Infact it was the Fairey Swordfish Torpedo planes from the Ark Royal that finally sank Bismark iirc. Thats pretty Historically Significant IMO.
