I'm not nomally a huge hardstyle fan but it is something that I can get into more. I have been listening to quite a bit of Gabber too recently. I'm sposed to be doing a Hardcore production mix for a Radio station so I thought I would learn using something easier like hardstyle. I may even submit that for the Hardstyle chanel.
Hardstyle at 180 bpm anybody

its changed a hell of a lot hardstyle has, i used to listen to it from 2003...it was very hardhouse/techno back then, but obviously that unique hardstyle kick and melodies, but i have grown on this newer hardstyle...but as music evolves more ideas come up to make it still sound good.:D what hardcore stuff do you play ? uk hardcore ?

I mainly like the Techno side of all things Hardcore. Basically the faster the better. Im especially feeling Gabber 93-97 right now.

In terms of Happy Hardcore again im really into the Horizontal hands techno shizzle. Dont get me wrong i like my UK hardcore. Im into things like CLSM John Peel isnt enough, Tabz Got 2 Move, Darren styles back to da oldschool, evil activities Back On Track.

Im not adverse to a bit of cheese hm sorry Melody like, Amigo's, Brisk Back & Forth (more hardstyle/gabber i spose)

Then i can get along with the more modern stuff. Everybody has to like Models are Ugly, bassphaze, wet knickers, we are the vampires.
One of the more experimental tunes that i think will be used more to start improving mixing style in hardcore is **** me Egyptian Style.
