Megane 225 any good ?

I know at least one person on here who may know the answer to this, the questions in the title..
I had the brochure through today and in its standard form the car looks ..well.. crap, if ever there was a car that was understated then this is it.
For a 2Ltr Turbo charged 225bhp car and a 0-62mph time of 6.5 seconds, it sure is lacking in the looks department ?

So my second question is....

Does anyone (Paul ) know a place where they would do TOP quality renault bodykits for the megane 225 sport, I don't mean some cheapy add ons, i would want something endorsed by renault themselves or something like that. ?

I'd have a Megane 225. I think they look great I even like the standard Meganes....

Try a Renault forum for info about bodykits maybe? (if they exist)

No way im swapping, i love my car, its just an option for a possible second car later in the year if things work out.

i work at the renault import place at tees dock and get to drive them all day 100mph down the test track love it lol
its better and more practical than the clio v6
love the way the car looks. its like a marmite car some love it and some hate it.
sure there will be a website that sells bodykits for it like.
in a year or so there is a v6 version coming out with over 300bhp apparently.

Now thats what im talking about I think if this is true then i'll wait for that, only problem would be the price on a V6 version though, its bound to be close to the £26,000 bracket. Where did you hear about the v6 version marky23 ? any links ?

It would be a bad choice in only car form so don't make it worse by having it as a second car!

at work we have all the latest cars to come out on the walls and there was a piccy of wot it said the replacement for the clio v6 and it was a bright yellow wide arch megane it would use the same engine as the clio but tuned to produce more power i cant wait to drive it lol.
also the megane cabriolet was getting the megane 225 engine aswell, and a hot hatch version of the modus with the clio sport 182 engine. i will look for a picture now and get the link for you

click on car search type in megane v6 and look at futures looking bright for ultimate megane
this story is a few months old and i heard that the demand was very high for this car so it will take over from the clio v6

OMG Even better is the fact that they say its gonna be a semi auto gearbox on the V6, so i hope that makes it to the road cars, and with a 3.5 engine its gonna sound unbelievable thanx for the info guys ..
