I'm editing my year's yearbook and was wondering if anyone had any original questions to ask on each student's personal page? Cheers :D

favorate quote from a teacher or a regular saying throughout the year - eg at my school we had a tracher called Mr Wright, and he always said "You must learn English the right way, no pun intended"
obviously the pun was intended and it became a running joke that he said that at some point during every english lesson he taught.

You mean you didn't duck quickly enough when they handed out that responsibility? Bad move! lol

Ours never happened, simply because it didn't have anybody involved that actually does anything, just the thinkers, no implementers. We were going to have stuff such as photo, favourite night out descriptions, most embarressing moment at school, most hated person in school (in a friendly way of course, a certain guy came up 25 times though :p).

Yeah, I agree, teacher quotes is a great one!

Be rigourous! As my maths teacher would always shout at us.
"I'll give you a great whopping essay if you don't shut up" - physics teacher, lol, NEVER did he hand out one despite his 100s of threats to 1000s of people, he even said it in sixth form lol, i think he knew it was a joke too though.

 OUUUUU!!! I will take that as a compliment(?!?!)

I would have got 100s of things said, none bad though :p I was well liked, well, I try to tell that to myself!

It was actually a Paul, but a 5'3" odd one, the type of person who repeats a joke twice as loud after somebody funny has said it, each and every time! grrr!

I've sent out a questionaire to the year- it's a good thing a member of staff isn't going to be editing these..
most random- did you eat my pie?
most tactless-will fat mandy ever be thin?

Then a whole load about unpleasant deaths and some "most likely to's"

...and you can take it as a compliment if you really want to! :D

We never had a yearbook, lol. But then again, only 7 of us in the Upper Sixth at the time, lol.

You tried looking at Friends Reunited, and see what questions they ask?

Kirsty, why don't you do the deathclock on each page? Bit grusome :p You could then tick off your friends as they die and see how far off the predictions are.

Your tactless question is mean! Maybe you should ask "Who likes the O.C." then you can see nobody actually does :p

7 Stu?! Mine is fairly small and had 160/year, my friend here was in one with 800 per year! (Sixth form College)

Yep, great! It was a small, independent school, catered from 5 y/o right through to 18. Must have been 200 max in the school, although over 20 teachers :)

I was also in first group to go into sixth form, so in effect I was in upper year for three years - this also came along with prefect and house captain privileges - ah, they were the days, getting some 4th former to fag for you ;)

haha, everyone here is an OC addict! Guaranteed common room filler.
We did think about having most likely to die naked and tied to a park bench, most likely to die evil and alone and most likely to die a virgin, But I think then the editor would get the biggest bitch nomination :(

we only have 48 in our year.

I bet, considering you go to a private school, it will all be nicely bound in leather, ours was doing to be a few pieces of A4 probably stapled together lol.

So you're the editor? :p Whoever the editor is, they could just change those awards anyway, especially if they took in the votes!

That would defeat the object of the polls- seeing what people really think.
Don't think it will be leather bound, but it's being printed by some year book company.

our school didnt do a year bok, it did a big long picture but not the average one with everyone standing on stands it was a head shot of each and every person exctpt the 20 or so they missed.

the school i went to before that though was private, we had 11 in our class and 23 in the year, they merged the forms together by the time i left

try Friends Reunited for inspiration - they have message boards where u can get ideas from

i never got a year book when i left school or sixth form. i get a letter of complaint from head teach instead for sticking his keys and lunch in ballons and sticking them to the ceiling in the hall / leaving voice message on his phone saying "u stick gay boy" which was actually his wifes number. DID NOT go down to well :(

I remember my sisters year did a think they called "The Challenge" they all had studies which there were about 4 people in each, they received a random letter under the door explaining that there were various objects around the school which the challenge was to steel them,
different things had different points values. (Each study was to only have one of each item and the final score went to the study not individuals)
eg .A fork from the dining room, 1 point,
a room number sign 2 points,
etc.etc.etc.

They were to cut the green tick from the bottom of the page out and place in in the right hand corner of the door with the number of people taking part, (some people didnt want to join in and some didnt have as many in the study)

It was going really well until it got out of hand by the bottom of the list as the items included the head teachers Cloak (the graduation ones which posh school teachers wear),
the honour board with all the head boys/girls of past years on (this got really out of hand when the person who stole it had it stolen from his car, they didnt then know who had it and they were all threatened with expulsion only to be allowed back for the final exams.

So anyway if you could do this with some sort of control, you could then give individual scores on each persons yearbook page.

and are you selling the yearbooks? because you could maybe not release the results until the books come out to keep people guessing about who did best and want to definatly buy the book!

Could put gradings for it - eg Challenge Gold would mean they did really well maybe 100+ points or on the winners page just put Challenge Winner and the points score
