What you lot like? Michels by me are selling Fox's nob for 79p its september dated. bought loads.... yummy much cheaper then my local who sell piss on tap

hmmmm the pub near where i was at sixth form had local ales out the barrel, and best of all they're cheaper than the standard mainstream lagers. though the local cider is nicer than most beers lol. whetherspoons also sell ales/bitters which are cheap so i tend to have them when out in town lol.

yeh propper cider is the best! no fizz looks like piss with skum at the bottom of the glass. you can drink it like pop but has sooo much alcohol in it!

Its a shame all these old pubs that sell real beers are dieing out.
There is a awesome place in the isle of wight. its on military road (long road along the south/west coast) they sell lots of random beers and specials. wen I last went they had one call 3hopps. very nice!

Well I'm just tucking into a Kaliber and can safely say I don't like that particularly.
I should have gone for Becks alcy-free.

Normalwise, and non lager I'm a big fan of the Blond ales - had one in St Bees last year called Sunchaser (I think) and that was v quoffable.

Anything from Black sheep brewery or failing that Newcastle Brown. Can't stand lager its tastes like fizzy gnat's piss.

No I haven't but I've gotto plan a trip to the brewery soon and sample their stuff

Trust me all lager as we no it is crap. At least with ale you can enjoy it with a meal and it enhances the flavour where as lager ruins your pallet for 5mins due to all the excess gas .

wish i could manage the 150mile drive.

Its worth it . Its only about 35miles for me so I'm lucky I guess .

there was a real ale which was like a mild but it tastes of treacle toffee and was strong enough to send people to the moon. I cant remember what its called though
