Right going up there at the end of the month for a holiday

Whats there to do up that end of the world any suggestions welcome..

Thinking of going into to Edinburgh but that's about it so far...

Looking at multimap it looks a bit...errmmm desolate ;)

desolate is right.

edinburgh is miles away and there is bugger all there, you're better off going to newcastle instead, its much closer and far cleaner/richer/safer.

where in northumberland exactly? most of northumberland is fields and not much all else. it has rained pretty much every day for the last few weeks so bring wellies if you're in a caravan or tent.

LMAO!!!!

I saw that program too, who would've thought Hadrian may well have been interested in boy scouts!

Can't help you on which bit to go to I'm afraid.

i'd follow the brown signs to the visitor centre then go for the wall walk for a couple of miles. there are some great views and also some great opportunities to pretend you're a roman soldier throwing hot oil on the scots.
