Check those wheel nuts!!!

Just a word of warning!

Just leaving the Nottingham cruise last night, and a can hear, thud, thud, thud, thud.
I thought i'd got a flat tyre and pulled over, checked the tyres, they were fine, looked under the car, but nothing obviously hanging down, opened the bonnet, but can't see or hear anything.
Then for some bizarre reason, I though i'd just check the wheels nuts, and not one but all four nuts on all four wheels were lose (I could turn them with my fingers!!!).
Now either all 16 wheels nuts have worked their way lose!, someones tried to nick them, or someone just un-did them for a laugh.
I wouldn't like to think what would have happened if i hadn't noticed and one of them had come off when i was driving home down the motorway!

Big thanks to Adil (Arcane Bravo) for driving me home to get the socket set!!! I owe this guy a big favour!

Lucky I didn't have the stereo on so loud i couldn't hear what was happening.

Si.

Very lucky you spotted it mate. After you left, I got paranoid and checked my wheel nuts (not that anyone wants to steal 15s' Haha!

I've been talking to a few people who also attended the cruise yesterday. From what I can gather, there were a group of trouble makers who were out and about causing problems. They even used a Land Rover to pull out a few posts which were set around the perimeter of the carpark.

It's a shame all this stuff happened. Makro weren't bothered about us cruisers being there, but now they will lock-down the carpark... [xx(]

you always get some fools who want to cause trouble.

Si: Glad nothing happened to you and it was caught early. Some people are stupid.
Anyway, was nice to finally see the ace Bravo Arcane's been raving about :D
