Atleast you got all the evidence teach the person for tailgating.

So will pic's and / or video be uploaded in about 3 years when it's all passed over?

basically covering our own back in case it ends up going the long way round the houses via the insurance company's liability team

Dont want the third party seeing/coming across the pictures then trying to make up story's based along the photo's and video's we have....

And not been data protection act registered No one is permitted to view the events via cctv footage except the camera operator (me/family) and the authority's/insurance co as it happened on public land and involved a third party....

No its not crime of the century but i'd rather go about it the proper way rather than compromising any claim or being accused of anything improper

Freedom of information act? We need to know who the silly woman is, incase she's following us somewhere

So will it all eventually be released. You own the data so after it all it's your choice isn't it?

bet you wont be able to sleep for weeks then

its mostly cosmetic and a scuffed alloy/ tire (unless the garage proves otherwise) but the other car lost the fight and caved in first, good thing focus estates have the chassis that way the rear chassis members are beefed up and they and the floor pan are directly behind the bumper/ rear wing because of the size/shape of the boot= no give... will also be getting the wheel bearing checked in case there is any damage

Is your Mum fully comp? if she is then just let the insurance company sort it out, it's what you pay the extra premium for.

Re: FECKING Women drivers (well 1) hit my mums car

Ahh FFS Mums received a letter today saying it was her fault as she "turned across the path" of the third party (which she Disputes)

They still haven't had all the evidence (only got the claim form this Wednesday) my father rung them at lunch time and they wont budge as the CCTV Footage confirms she is at fault!

All they have receved at the moment is the CCTV and Post crash Photos which we offered to E-mail the next day the claim has been handed by the insurance company to an uninsured loss accident company (who the e-mail was sent to)
and they wont budge saying it has been decided they know what they are talking about blah blah blah

What the feck do we do now

(dads currently on the phone to the RAC)

well in my opinion for what thats worth it was other drivers fault unless your mum was indicating in wrong direction or not indicating at all.

Re: FECKING Women drivers (well 1) hit my mums car

Other drivers fault....if it had been a dual carriageway then other driver could have had a case, i.e. your mum crossed from centre to left which even with an indicator should not be done unless all is clear. But on a single track road then the car infront can do whatever the f**k it likes within the rules of the road and its up to the one following to avoid it. 'Turned across the path' implies more like your mum was entering the road from a side turning e.t.c. not on the road and leaving it!
