Dunno if 2" alloy would be strong enough. What would work wonders would be fibreglass windsurfer masts

Are you thinking of something to knock into the soil or a stand-up type?

I could make you a nice big banner and all you'd need if its something to knock into the ground is some 2" hollow aluminium tubing? As for a stand up type, that'd be a bit more complicated as it'd need to be weighed down somehow. PM me and i'll see what I can come up with, but the banner is the easy bit. Hold on, is it a banner or a flag you want?!
