Hey guys,

ok who as been a lemon and locked them selves out before!

now i no u can do this if u open only the boot and put the keys in there by mistake and shut the boot (then ur f*cked lol)

well i av been a lemon last night!!!

i was going to Kripsy Kremes, which was so good lol, and i went round the corner to pick up my mate.

Now some of u no i just got an alarm and when i turn on the engine and shut the doors, after around 10 secs the doors lock! now i turned on my engine but didnt shut the door, then i wanted to see something and i got out and shut the door and ... LOCKED MY SELF OUT!! :bang: :bang: :bang: what an idiot lol

anyways i went home and was like DAD WHERE THE HELL IS MY OTHER KEY!

'i dont no wats the rush'
'i locked myself out can u GET IT!'

we went up and down the stairs like 3 times

anyways lol would be funny to hear other stories and to no im not the only one lol

My boss did it this morning.

Took a Scouser 2 mins to bend the door back, get a coat hanger and open the door.

i intend on making my boot cable easily accessible in case i lock myself out

then cover the hole up with a metal coated piece of plastic and coat it n grease

i have never locked myself out

Note to self

lol i had my keys on my parcel shelf and started shutting the boot and then got half way and did a matrix slow motion NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO and managed to stop before it happened

I did that a few weeks ago i was gettin stuff out of my boot and left my keys in and i completely forgot about them and shut the boot.. but i had left the passenger side door open so i got in and managed to flick the handle to open my boot hehe kinda lucky reallyy but that was so dopey of me

Yep. Whilst at work, I was putting things in the boot and shut it, only to realise that the keys were inside. Had to travel home by bus - get the spare keys - then travel back again.

Doubt i'll do it again though.

Makes me think i dont got a spare key where can i get one from

I have once while playing about with my ICE. But it was at home so I just went in the house and got a spare .

did it once 20 miles away from home fortunately i knew the boot lock on the Fiesta i had at the time was rather easy to open as the tumbler was broken just stuck my house key in 1/2" and turned it........

not done it since im paranoid..

Never locked myself out the car. Locked myself out the house once - well kind of I was going to my parents while they were away to house sit, but took my set of keys without the key to my parent's house on it :bang: Luckily they keep a spare buried

when i lived at home i lost my whole bunch of keys when my old man decorated so i was locked in the house as everyone had left for work when i had got out of bed

i never locked myself out a car, or my house

i aint that dumb

EDIT: steely just reminded me that today i put the car to bed... put her cover on and tucked her all in.. and then remembered that not only had i not locked the door, the keys where still in the ignition so i had to try and climb under it and get keys out haha

been locked out of the house a few times I am now a dab hand at removing UPVC windows....

went sledging up on the mendips and managed to get myself locked out with the keys in the ignition. had to phone a friend to drive to my house, signal went, then had to run along to the end of this tiny road to get signal then explained to him why i wanted him to go to my house, and to fetch the spare. then where to take it. which was a bit more complicated lol.

my friend managed to break into the car by putting a key in a slight gap in the window and levering it down. just goes to show how easy it is to steal a car really, especially of that age.

all the while it was snowing HEAVILY! i'd almost describe it as a blizzard. but i have little experience of snow.

i broke into a MkII Fiesta once by forcing down the window after the woman who owned it locked the keys in it and only had that set.

locked myself out of my datsun, nice AA man showed me how to get back in within 30secs, since then opened doors for mrs, mum, dad, sister, and a few friends as well as random friends...

I managed once, whilst camping in a windswept field in Wales 50 miles from home, to lock not one but both sets of keys in the boot of my Mum's Cinquecento!

Mum had a set (in her handbag which was in the boot) and I had the other set. Used mine to open the boot, put them on the parcel shelf while I put my boots on then closed the boot. Realising what I'd done I asked my Mum where her keys were!

Was a rather embarrassing call to the AA!
