How Do I Cash a Postal Order

I have just received a Postal Order as payment for something I have sold.

Do I just take it to the counted in the Post Office to exchange it for cash or is there something else I need to do?

Ive never used this form of payment before and neither have any of my family so i'm a little confused.

Take it to the Post Office, hand it over, and they will give you the cash value in exchange.

or

Pay in to your bank as per cheque.

Simple!

it depends some postal orders HAVE to go to bank. its somethig to do with if its been crossed with payee only like a cheque.

you can pay it into a bank as a normal cheque and wait for it to clear.

Not sure what the post office does.
