The TV Volume goes louder when adverts come on doesn't it?
can't just be me.
can't just be me.
it's to wake people up and get their attention and buy stuff from the adverts
The theory is that during a commercial break people go out to the kitchen to make a cup of tea or out of the room, so they turn up the volume so you can still hear the adverts. Of course, the TV authorities deny that this happens
Most adverts these days cause my brain to automatically take no notice anyway. The more they try and get my attention, the more I ignore them
I record anything that im going to watch now on sky that has adverts in lol , then i can fast forward them.
saves lots of time
i totally just did an essay about this!! lol!
which is why jamie knows the answer!
On my *cough* marketing course at uni we were taught that the adverts are delibarately louder to 'wake people up' after they go into a bit of a trance watching their programme!
