Hi Everyone??

Poppiing to Western Super Mare this weekend???

Anything interesting I can do down there??

Will be going with my Girl friend.

Thanks in Advance!!

do you mean weston-super-mare?

you can eat fish and chips and reminisce about the days when british seaside resorts were profitable.

also go to the helicopter museum, the grand pier, the seaquarium and the miniature railway, then you will understand why british seaside culture died a boring death.

at least you've got your girlfriend with you so you can have sex in a dirty hotel bed that has previously been 'used' by hundreds of other poeple.

the beach sand may look welcoming, but beware it hold many nasty surprises.

hello. Weston super mud! my advice is don't go in the sea. the beach itself isn't actually that bad tbh it gets cleaned every morning and imported every few months.
Go to the grand pier to have a go on the games there, don't try the arcades by yates as half of them don't work no more. though there are some true classics there. i don't think they've been updated since the 1980s. although the grand pier is pretty pricey. if you want fish and chips go to either papas. (by argos head away from sea front ( if you go past the mercury office or come accross several heroin addicts down a lane you've gone too far.) or the Atlantic Fish Bar which is down orchard street (go down the narrow one way street by the silica thing(looks like a big carrot (you can't miss it)) it's on the left hand side. i think the atlantic is the best one but slightly more out the way.

if you're there in the evening, forget the clubs. but i'll give you the details

Vision - probably the most popular. nearly always busy. R'n'B room seperate from main room so keeps them away. but mainly full of underage/25-35yr olds and most likely to get into a fight in there/outside. overpriced

Sands - Nice inside, relatively cheap. but nearly always empty but when it is mainly full of old women.

Senoritas/destiny- a room. good for polish beers, bad music, overpriced, old people again. fights quite common inside/outside lol

i think there's another major one but can't think of it. though there is also hobbits the goth place. don't go there, just don't.

if you are out try the bars by superdrug (silica end of town) then go to Cabot 5 Bars. free entry, but drinks are pricey, good music (well varied so it can be pretty poor but usually good) always busy.

depends what you're into as to what you want to do in the daytime really.

you're not a brummie are you?

Your all tarnishing my images of weston being a great place when i went there every summer for 14 years! when i was a child of course...might be going down in a few weeks for a cheap weekend though, see if its changed any...i doubt it though, as long as the pier train is still working and the western shack style water gun game is still at the front door ill be more than happy!:D
