Just to make you aware that we are offering a rather special raffle prize in aid of the charity donations by way of raffle tickets available from various members of the Fiat Forum.

First Prize is this.......
DSC02007.JPG DSC02009.JPG

It's a 1994 spi 1108cc Panda Selecta auto with folding fabric sun roof, the car is called "Ivor"

What makes it rather unique is that this car was spotted on the film set of EastEnders within the Arches (phils garage) being worked on by Minty.
Via the EastEnders help desk the owner was traced (Millers action vehicles) and the car was purchased from them we are still attempting to get photographs from Eastenders when the episode was aired on the 5th of Oct 2006 which is proving to be difficult  On collection it was also found that the vehicle was used in a 2004 christmas advert for McDonalds (some pics of which are shown below) a copy of the advert will be passed to the winner. This car will also be used for the Panda-to-Istanbul trip and the draw for the tickets made on it's return.

Prior to handover the car will be serviced and inspected by an official MOT garage for roadworthyness even though it has only just passed an MOT examination. There are a few slight marks on both front wings that you can see in the pics which will be repaired before the trip.

The second prize is a boxed limited edition VS Orient-Express train set supplied by Hornby and retails at £225..........

Third prize will be a sought after Fiat Forum T shirt  (y)

Further prizes are expected but this is the list thus far.

Tickets can be bought at £1.00 each from..
Myself
Dave
Panda-sport (Damon)
Sprox (Graham)
Posh Panda's (Gina)

Should you wish to donate towards the charity without raffle tickets details of both charities and how to donate are on the website www.panda-to-istanbul.co.uk or within my Sig below.

if we are a fair way away from those users, is there an internet purchase option?

I suppose yes although it would be difficult to post all the tickets out as it will get very expensive. Although all that is required for the draw is your House No, Postcode & tel No put on the stubbs.

There is plenty of time as the draw will not be till mid Sept. I'm going to try to get an official to pick the draw from the Whitehaven area possibly the mayor if I speak nicely to them nearer the time.

graham (sprox)and i are willing to post them out to people ,just pm us - the others may not be so willing :p
its all for good causes and hopefully will make people smile along the way (y) :)

I do :) Am waiting to see you again :p

Funny you should say that county motors are having an auto italia day next week. me and kerry are going in both panda's as they maybe sponsoring us fingers and everything else crossed.

Thanks Sam i noticed your post a while back so knew you would be donating at some point...Thanks very much.

Hello
Can you tell me how to get this tickets? It's really nice 1st Prize:)
Regards
Jakub

Easy......send me however much you want £1.00 a ticket and I will e-mail a scanned copy of your tickets to you which will include the ticket No as well as the book serial No. I will then add your phone No, house No & postcode to the back of the draw stubs. If your ticket is drawn in sept, we'll use the details given to get in contact with you and tell you how to collect the car ;)

I was going to ask the mayor of whitehaven to complete the draw but as the Whitehaven newspaper has been so good to publicise the event will ask the Editor of that paper to ensure all is above board.

I have disqualified myself from buying any tickets as that would look a little suspect to say the least if I won it. Personally I will be sad to see it go.
