What in Heaven's name have you done to the colour scheme? Perhaps someone has already commented on this but I can't read a damn thing

If not, it looks like this: the background is black, with the text dark blue which makes it almost unreadable without looking at it about 4 inches away from the screen - which makes it actually physically painful [V]

Ok, think i've worked it out... you lot that have problems aren't using netscape by any chance are you?
it seems as though I have opened a can of worms here, netscape requires a lot more css'ing than ie!

Have hopefully fixed the topic.asp (the viewing bit), but i know post.asp and the privatemessage post are going to be screwed up, along with members, search and the profile viewer / editor.

Ah well, at least i know why now, will fix them tonite, in the meantime you'll have to grin and bear it

Sorry Ben - I couldn't stay up any longer. It is fixed now thank goodness. And no, I wasn't using Netscape. I use Internet Exploder 6 SP1, both at home and at work.

I don't like to go against other forum members, but please please please don't get rid of the avatars, it's part of the fun. If you can arrange for each member to turn them on or off, then that would be a lot better.

Strange, really strange. But as long as your errors are consistent with Netscape, it will make it easier for me to fix them all. Can you confirm errors also occur on the search + new topic pages? (in which case i do know what i am fixing )

And yes, I will need to at some point rewrite the profile section to allow a lot more options, turning on and off avatars one of them.

Will check the logos when i get home cheers everyone!

BEN - I have the same problem as steve and a few others, the site comes up with black background and over sized fonts.

I refreshed the screen and it goes back to normal. Any ideas what it can be. I'm running IE 5.
