I'm looking to upgrade around the time my insurance is up for renewal, so i was thinking of getting an abarth, and just had a look at insurance quotes... OMFG the insurance is sooooo damn cheap. It might seem expensive to some people but a quote for under a grande on a 2.4 20v engine... AMAZING. I paid nearly twice that for a 1.4clio... Madness....

What's the best insurance quotes people are getting?

you tried confused.com? when you get the best quote go to their website an get another. when they ask you for you best quote put in their own. 9/10 they will beat it!

I keep meaning to try confused. but i was just stunned at what tesco could offer me... theyre pretty toss all in all, but htye are cheap and that quote proves it to me.

nah, it was more specific about the stilo abarth, but now it's irelevant, it's kinda morphed away from what i was asking... nay mind

£500 FC with 25000 miles per annum which pushes the premium up. Funnily enough by adding the wife it reduces the premium even though she has been involved in a couple of accidents over the last few years and I haven't. I guess it is the "woman are safer drivers" effect.

I pay £370 fully comp. It's amazing! I'm 23 with 5 years NCB. I find that by increasing the excess your cost goes down! Try It!!!!!!!

My excess is set at 800. It brings my premium right down! I know people say what if you cant afford to find 800 when you need to make a claim but it is the best way. Just think you could save up that 800 in no time at all when you consider the savings that you'd make in a year on a higher premium. I dont see the point in shelling out up to a grand on insurance every year (but some people do!) It also makes you take a little more care and you build your NCB seeing as you wont make claims willy nilly. My advice raise the excess (chances are you wont have an accident... worse case scenario repair it yourself!! Unless it is very expensive) with the 100's of £££ you save on insurance you can put away to cover the excess if the dreaded happens and you "need" to make a claim.

I always try and get as little excess as possible, managed to get reasonable quotes with £0 excess. You just have to know how to flirt with the girl in the call centre!
