Just wonder if anyone on here is with ingenie insurance. And if know how much they charging for adding some more miles to insurance.
I know now that I shouldnt put 5k on the policy as I already done nearly 3k in about 4months.
And I need now to buy more but first I just want to know how much they charge for it.

I misread the title as Lingerie...

Anyway...I don't know what Ingenie are like, but the fact you have a very restricted mileage allowance suggests you either a) mis judged your usage or b) didn't read the fine print.

I'd expect they'll charge quite a bit for those extra miles (3k in 4 months puts you on track for 9k)
How many miles do you get? I presume it's a black box type scheme?

Not sure about Ingenie but I'm with Tesco. The difference between 6,000 miles per year and 10,000 miles per year when I took out the policy was £180 but to add an extra 4,000 miles to my policy after taking the policy out would cost me over £800.

How much it costs only they'll be able to advise as it won't be the same for you as it would be for someone else, and to a degree is irrelevant as it needs to be done

I remember when I went through the comparison websites a year ago, the difference in price between 8,000 miles & 12,000 miles was less than a fiver, on a fully comp policy costing around £100.
