Using Admiral Multicar - I think for my 07 TJet Sport I'm paying about £400 - was told when I bought the car that the insurance would be about £250 - they couldn't explain the jump but originally had quoted me £980 for the renewal - I do have 2 write-offs to my name but these didn't have any affect on the quote apparently! Hoping this year it will be even less but I'm expecting to have to barter for it.

Sorry forgot to say - 33 years old; now with 1 year no claims; Fully comp and I think £150 excess; no mods
