How 6points affects premium

Last year i was insured with elephant.
1.4 active sport stilo.
20yrs old. good postcode
1years no claims
1 claim in last 3 years.

Last year i paid £1150

and the renewal came through at £867. but i had some points added (6) in the last year. called up to let them know. and they recalculated the new sub at £1340
I told them i had had a much cheaper quote, and i would just cancel the policy instead. anyway, the girl on the phone was very pleasant. so she put me on hold, dont know what she did or who she spoke to, but she came back with a quote of £904.. which i happily accepted.
So even adding 6points brought my policy down £250 from last year

It's amazing how a year can change your premium - all to do with claims statistics!

Please feel free to call us on the Fiat Forum insurance scheme at renewal.

What's more interesting is how saying you'll go elsewhere will get you a better quote.....
