| NCB transferable for second driver? Hi guys I have a question for people in the know: I've had driving licence/insurance since 2002 and managed to get 4 or more NCB but as it was unprotected I got downgraded to 3 years after a shunt last year. Now I'm getting a second car which is smaller and cheaper to insure so I'm going to be main driver and my hubby will become main driver on bigger car. My question is when he becomes the first driver of bigger car will he be able to get NCB as he was second driver on my policy or will he have to start from scratch? The idea being that he may get cheaper insurance for big car than me as he wasn't involved in accident... I know it sounds complicated, but hopefully somebody can help Thanks a bunch!
