Panda Insurance help

Before anyone says, yes I know this ideally should be within the Insurance part of ff, but I want to keep this in house, so to speak.

Had bad news, Insurance being canceled. Long story short, someone hit me, confirmed details (or so I though) and the broker I went through, Swintons, didn't add all details, missed out an accident (which I blaintly told them about!), and now had policy canceled. I would argue the toss, but can't be bothered as they're giving me some money back and they tend to do what the fcuk the like and it would be like , and luckily no damage was sustained to the Panda so I'm not having to claim.

Insurance get canceled on Tuesday, and I need a new policy for Wednesday. Where should I go for a good price? Tried Confused, and MoneySupermarket and they're much of a muchness.

Is there anywhere any of you know off that really is good for prices, either online or over the phone?

Many thanks, Jon.

Re: Panda Insurance help

post office was good for me.
but most of us in panda section are very old, so maybe you would be better off in insurance section where the young people hang out, and can say who was good for young drivers.

Re: Panda Insurance help

Have you tried Lancaster Insurance, they're really good value for the 'older car'. We saved £250 our insurance getting fully comp for £250 with 1 year ncb

Re: Panda Insurance help

Quotes so far are as follows:

Fully comp : £1200

tptf : £1150

for £50 more (concidering one is already spending over a grand) whats your views on going fully comp, which is what I'm planning on doing, over tptf. For an extra £50 it seems worth doing.

That what I thought, for £50 more I'll get more loads out of the policy, inc 3rd party on other vehicles which will be handy.
