They said they couldnt even quote me, i had to be 21 with 1 NCB.
Ive had loads of quotes from all over the show and they couldnt even quote me?

i managed to get hold of them eventually but they couldnt quote me for the Turbo, i've gone with Greenlight for £1077 FC

The 10/15% discount claim in the original post is rubbish - my renewal on Pops, my Panda Dynamic 1.2 manual, with Saga was £105.14.
Yet on ringing up I get a tale of "we can't possibly beat that price, our normal insurance starts at £140" - so why claim you can beat ANY quote!

Initially when I first went with CK insurance I got a realy good quote, even for being an old git.
Things changed when I tried to insure a second vehicle & put my 30year old soninlaw as a second driver. It was only a 1.3 wee van, all I wanted was a quote & this guy started to play the funny man. Suggesting it was me who was playing games. Couldn't give me a strait answer.

We've now taken on 2 new staff members to cope with demand.

I have just gone with Chris Knott, they returned my call in about 15-30 mins to get the details for the quote, which saved me £60 over the cheapest price I could find from getting quotes from ALL of the price comparison sites and other big names that don't list on comparison sites (e.g. direct line). I also tried to get my old insurer to beat CK whilst waiting 30-mins for CK's finance dept to call me back for payment, they couldn't beat it. Also quick sending out documents, my name is spelt wrongly but hopefully they will deal with that quickly as well.

Ah well a year on and this year they couldn't pull the rabbit out of the hat and couldn't beat my lowest quote on my Peugeot, so this year believe it not I am going with more than who in the past have lived up to there name and have been more than anyone else but not this year

tried these guys yesterday with a quote of £303.69 fully comp from done deal these guys were nowhere near told me to snap of done deals arm but said their quote was that much higher than that they couldnt even bother to tell me how much it came out at.
so this aint for everyone maybe just a lucky few.
but was worth a try anyhow as was a free phone number only so didnt cost me a single penny.

If the main driver was over 25 but a named driver wasn't (19), would the 10% discount still be eligible?

One issue that has arisen is that a very small minority of people are saying we haven't called them back. Small minority or not, we want to speak to everyone who rings us.
I can assure you we call everyone back without fail!
The reasons we don't manage to speak to people is because either they have gone out, the wrong number has been taken down or, as has been said quite often recently, people don't answer numbers they don't know!
Our stats show that we only manage to contact 2 out of 10 people on average! It’s frustrating for us as well!
I would therefore ask that if for any reason you have had to leave your number that you PLEASE RING US BACK WITHIN 2 HOURS MAXIMUM IF YOU HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING, or otherwise, please leave alternative numbers. (Mondays & Fridays are our most busiest however!).
(I covered for a colleague recently and was given a list of 4 people to ring back for a quote. When you're less busy could someone rummage me up a quote for a Maserati 3200GT? I've had really daft quotes before compared to the Mrs who's been driving for less time, has lower NCB - and her quotes are cheaper than her current car!
