Is that the rink that got closed down due to a fire?

if so I've played in there a few times over the years... doesn't look much different to when it was open LOL!

i like selective colouring, but reckon if you'd left a tiny bit of colour in the rest of the image it'd look cooler.

projectors from late 50's from what I've gathered. and the stands they sit on are probably originals from 1929




60/70's smoking bar, full of slugs and rott, overlooking the old durham mainstreet

that place looks awesome. fancying showing me the sights if i pop over to the NE?

i took a lot of photos today, but all shot in raw+basic jpg. am not home yet so havent had chance to process any of them. will have a mooch through them tomorrow afternoon.

we just happen to have the reminants of 52, yes 52 cinema's across all of sunderland, got to find a few more in the area yet

and ARC yuppers you can come over, talk about rusting fiats, decrepid buildings and general dissarray in a student house this year, so loads of room if you get stuck.

Had to go up the stairs in the mankiest abandoned office block in Reading to get these lol! Its been shut for a good 6 years and been leaking water all that time as well. The carpet was like walking on marsh land, the windows were all thick with mould and it stank! lol

but was worth it for these i think.. .

awesome. soon as i get some free time we'll have to sort summit out

just got back from a little trip, just taken these of the camera.. so they're basic jpg, ive not done any level adjustments on them yet. once ive eaten, showered etc i'll download the rest of them!

Just a bit of playing really, but I really like the colours in the light!

I prefer taking pictures so much more at night and in the dark, light is so much more interesting!

that is pretty cool, yeah

i love using light effects too. however, i think for light painting i need something better than my energizer head torch!!
