How do I cut out the background of a JPEG inserted into MS Publisher?
I'm designing a poster for my University assignment and I'm using MS Publisher. I have some images that I will be using, but when I insert the image into Publisher it shows up with the white square background.
How can I make it so that only the foreground image is shown? I've fiddled around with Photoshop, used the magic wand tool to select just the foreground image, copied it once selected and pasted onto a new canvas, saved it as a JPEG and then tried inserting the new image into Publisher. However, it still shows the white background, which looks a bit cack with the coloured background template I'm using in Publisher
Below is one of the images I'm using. What I want is just for the hamburger to show up when inserted into Publisher - NOT the white background behind it in the picture (n.b. it might not show on FF as FF has a white background). Anyone know how I can do this please?
Thanks in advance for any help
