Opinions on website

Opinions on website

Apparently this site allows personal attacks?

Its humorous, in my opinion. Most forums don't allow it but I like the bit of banter that goes off.

Just cos Dave doesn't get computers, he changes the topic title. Bet he had a hard time managing that.

Re: Opinions on website (from normal people, not geeks)

Well, we had best not go into that. We'll end up going back to the days of BenR and Koa. Nobody wants that :p

BenR? he didnt happen to own a tuning garage did he?

Re: Opinions on website (from normal people, not geeks)

No. He runs StiloSport.

oh ok. Only ever come accross one BenR on car forums before and he runs a car tuning company, one the most knowledgeable people i have ever met when it comes to engine tuning.

no dave fed up with divy arguements, might as well say its best not to ask on a forum how to fix your car as thats not proper, you should take it to a dealer instead

but dealers make problems worse.... :p

That post only highlights how you know sod all about XHTML. Sorry, but unless you read up on what your arguing about then im afraid all your comparisons are ********.

:)

:whogives::life:

So just because I have a clue how websites work and are coded that makes me need a life?

Ahhhh, the joys of the internet.

[Edited to stop the powers of a MOD :D]

original post put back by a MOD: To give the reminder who needs a life, look at your post count ;)

I smell a Ban! :D. Seriously though its a amateur site the fact it doesn't confine strictly to XHTML means absoultly f**k all. It does what he wants, looks how he wants it looks and works in most browsers..... Whats the problem?.

What do you do for a living?.

All Chris wanted was some constructive criticism on his site layout, not to be shot down in flames about the coding.

And anyway, don't always presume Dave is solely responsible for changing things - there is more than one mod on this site

As for personal attacks - come off it - that comment made me chuckle.

Would be innaproriate seen as Dave started the flame baiting, changed the topic title and insulted two members in the thread because of giving advice on making his website XHTML complaint.

Its not the be and end all, but shows you know how code a website, which is hardly a bad thing, imo.
