Canon 300D Shutter Speed

now we have a Canon EOS 300D SLR Camera and i want to play with the shutter speeds but i dont know how, anyone tell me how they do it on there cameras? ive had a play around but cant find much.

any help much appreciated.

Tv mode and use the scroll wheel to reduce/increase shutter speed. Have you got the manual?

for playing though, i'd start with Prorgam Auto mode, or aperture priority mode.

thanks alot for that guys, figured it all out and having a play. gonna find tripod and go do some shooting as i want something new to do :slayer:

if you are using long exposures, use a low ISO, and use a remote shutter release if you have one, if not - use the self timer. This will help to eliminate camera shake ruining the shot.

all gona be new for me, ill play around and use what ive got for now, only learning how to use the camera properly now after a good while lol.
