opinions on these images

on the theme of decay. what do you think?

I was fond of the un-doctored version of this pic, i think i've ruined it now. Is it really relevant to decay..

my favourite out of these ones, but still.. meh.. i don't know if others would see it as relevant, i have trouble seperating shots from the locations - and to me this location is decay, but does this shot convey it?

I like them, where were they taken - old hospital?

With the top one though, personally i think this works better -

the top ones were, the bottom was an old tower on the docks in liverpool.

your version does look better than my paritally desaturated version, but i still think the oriongal is best.

Ahh, so thats why it looked slightly washed out . Yes, i think you rright, the intensity of the colours makes it a much more pleasant viewing experience, definately gives the feeling of decay. BTW what equipment were you using?

them shots are done with a nikon d50 and the 18-55 kit lens, then post processed in photoshop.

bought myself a sigma 10-20 lens this morning though. hehe.

my favourate one would be the second pic., not many places like that around here anymore, they build on everything these days.,
