| this is where i stand  | how over priced are jessops and other high street stores?! I'm off to spain on thursday, and wanted a bigger memory card for my camera. I've bought a 2gb card off amazon, cost me £18 summit. But it's not here yet. So i thought.. go into town and see how much they cost, then if its not here by thursday, i can go buy one locally. Jessops didn't have any 2gb cards, but they had a 1gb card i could have for about £40. Went to PC world, biggest card they had was a 512mb for about £50. Maplin didn't have any fuji XD cards. what a bloody rip off!

as for cards, i'm holding off now in the hope that my visit to hong kong will yield some really cheap ones, they all seem to come from around there anyway
