oil pressure switch

Hi, I have Idea Multijet 1.3 70BHP and have a problem with "oil pressure switch". The car sometimes just don't want to start, like it's dead. Battery is new. Does anyone know any details about it? Does Idea have a automatic cut off in case of low oil level, so it doesn't start because of that. Apreciate any help! Thanks
