Just bought my idea. On start up this morning and when I finished work a error message pops up max temperature radiator liquid appears. I did some digging around and some say it signs of bad battery so I have put a new battery on but message still appears on cold start up. Any ideas?
I do know my thermostat is stuck open that's a job for Sunday do you think this may have anything to do with it?

Well stat changed. Lovely warm air from heater. No over heating no fluid loss. Still this stupid message appears. Not had chance to get it plugged in yet my scanner at a friends house so that next job.

if it's only on start up there are only 2 things that can cause it, the first and most likely is low battery voltage and the second is the engine ecu software may need updating. Have a good check of your battery tho. You will never see errors for this either

I'm reckoning it software update just put brand new battery on it

If the battery is all good then it's software but there was not always updates so sometimes we used to have to replace the control unit to rectify the problem
