Hi everyone, hope you can help, had the airbag light intermittent on for while, so used the fiat multiecuscan software to get the following code

Error Code B100F Passenger airbag resistance too high to sensor

Tried to clear the error code without any success using a modified ELM327. The ELM327 did connect with the airbag module and successfully connected with all the other modules. I tried using a red airbag connector lead but would not connect at all.

Any advice? is it a DIY fix or should I get an auto electrician to have a look?

Thanks alot.

Have the same problem with mine, its been checked and reset several times. I am now having a replacement airbag, managed to find a company in Hinckley West Midlands that do refurbished ones at a good price. Will post if that solves my problem

As you can't refurbish an airbag, they are sealed for life or until they explode in your face, all they are selling is airbags out of scrap cars.

Airbags are highly dangerous and have ridiculously high standards and levels of safety so even if they are truly refurbished, they shouldn't be trusted,

Sorry for delay, but thought I would give you all a quick update. Problem now fixed, no replacement airbag needed. Turns out part of the wiring loom by the steering column was rubbing against the column and had worn through the outer casing and causing an electrical short. Only discovered it when fitting a new stereo head unit and accidentally turned the steering wheel.
