Rear passenger door problem
Nearside rear passenger door wont open from inside the car. Have played with child lock etc.,to no avail. When the door release handle is operated it seems that the lock release mechanism has failed, as there is no "feel" to it, so it looks like I will have to remove door card to see what's going on. Hope I can do it without wrecking card. Anyone else had this problem?

Re: Rear passenger door problem
Update on lock prob: Removed screw holding door release (manual windows so no switch to worry about), and lifted out assembly. lock release cable had come out of its seating so it was a simple matter of re-fitting cable into clip. I put a small strip of insulation tape around it to hold it in position so hopefully it wont fall out again. Had exactly the same thing happen on my Punto75 a few years ago and that was also easily fixed. Thankfully, I didn't have to take off door card - I wasn't looking forward to that job!
