boot build

i have decided to do a boot build in a punto mk1 and was wanodering if there is anyone that could post some pics of their boot builds to give me an idea what i can do. i want at least 2 10" subs and 1 amp and i have 6x9s so anything would be great. the pic do not even have to be in a punto as all i need is some ideas.

thanks

lewis

Re: boot build

Going from your other thread, I'd focus on getting some decent speakers up front first, I think you can you use GT door cards and fit 6.5" mids in there.

Re: boot build

what have u got still to do, are you going to add more or carpet it.

i have the idea to take out the parcel shelf and make a box with no front so that the 6x9s and two subs will be in one frame with a amp at the back

i hope this pic shows you what i want

Re: boot build

only staple where you won't see it and then glue the rest

Thumbs up Re: boot build

well im going to do the same as in the pic i posted and have it all blue as the inside of my cr is blue and the out side is black so a mixture of black and blue in the boot would wkd. i will have one sub at the mo and one amp which i have now and then i have two 10" which will go above my sub and then make a new shelf which is attached to the sub frame and not the parcel shelf holder bit on the side if you get me, as mine are bending from the weight of my 6x9's. this will be covered so you wont be able to see my speakers and then im thinking about putting in some neons that only turn on when the boot is open with will look wkd. ill have them in the corners under the parcel shelf so you cant see them but when light it will light the boot. what you think

does any one have the measurements of a fiat punto mk1 60s, (not sure if that mkes a diff). as i will need to see how much wood i need to get and cannot be bothered to go out side in the rubbish weather and measure my boot lol.

cheers
