The code for your IDC-A09 CD Changer is: 5415

This version (7607769100) of the IDC-A09 CD Changer is a Blaupunkt generic version. The Fiat version of it is 7607769150. As such, I doubt this unit will work with a Fiat radio.

Cheers for the codes Dave, will try them in the morning.

The CDC has been working with my R/C since I got it from ebay about 18 months ago. It didnt even ask for a code just worked straight away.

Ive now fitted a Connect Nav+ and it isnt playing cds, so apparently Ive got to decode and then encode it with the R/C with a bit of luck!!!!!!!!!

You shouldn't need the code just because you've changed the battery. Unless you're fitting a different radio to the original one???

Thankyou for such a quick responce, i only bought the car 4 weeks ago and the radio was fine, now it needs a code putting in, i have searched all over the car and can not find the code and i tried a few that i found on the net but its just telling me to wait now so it is really driving me mad, i read in the manual that if you keep putting in wrong codes then you have to wait longer the next time you want to put the code in, i managed to pull the radio out today and there was the sticker with numbers on, guessing its the model number BP237448035818 then it says fiat punto CC 7 642 374 316, it wont work atall and is giving me dashes on the screen as to put in numbers, when i put the wrong ones in it beeps and then says wait, i am sorry to be a pain i am a typical girl who does not have a clue, i found this site by luck and i hope i can sort it out as i miss my music.. otherwise i am affraid i may have to fork out for a new one haha thanks dave for helping....Lisa:worship:
