MASSIVE thanks Davren (you are a lifesaver!) - I am playing the waiting game for code to become available for entering after so many failed attempts. i see on other thread that if i leave my ignition on it eventually returns and i can then enter the code, but we don't run the car battery down leaving ignition on do we ?

abble - should be o.k. with the battery, just make sure interior fan , lights,etc are all OFF,
the fuel pump should only run for a few SECONDS..then it's basically just dash lights and a few sensors.

was it in the car when you got it..?,
the car should recognise it's original unit..

the numbers you've quoted should be enough for Davren to get the correct code

only issue may be IF lots of wrong attempts have been made you could get a WAIT message - there is help info regarding this on the forum,
